If you don’t already have an account with eBay, then you will need to set one up. So after reading this, head off to your countries eBay website and register yourself, which is easy enough
The hardest step – Deciding what to sell! With so many categories and subcategories to choose from this can be hard. However to make the task easier look around the house for any items you don’t use anymore that can be sold.
Create your listing. Follow the steps eBay provides as this makes it even easier to sell your item. Choose a category that suits your item; be as specific as you can, as this will increase the chances of your item being sold for a higher price.
Add a title and description to your listing. Add a picture of the item you are selling if you can. A picture is better than a thousand words! Decide how you want to sell your item, auction style or a fixed price. An auction style listing is where you start at a low price and people bid on your item and it goes to the highest bidder. A fixed price listing is where you set your price and is non – negotiable. Work out how much is will cost to post the item, don’t guess as it might cost you more than you think and you could loose out.
Now that all the hard work is over just sit back and wait for the item to be sold, collect the payment and post the item.
Now how easy it that? It’s no wonder that more and more people are turning towards eBay everyday.
