Now that the election process is over, we can all take a deep breath and resume back to life as normal. Not sure about you but I have felt on edge for the last few weeks. Hearing the news media and conversing with folks on the internet about election day can be a bit overwhelming. I will admit that I am happy that the entire election process is over.
When it was announced that Barack Obama was the next President of the United States, I felt so happy and proud that this country selected the “right” person to fulfill the job. I cried, smiled and laughed in that order once the announcement was made. To celebrate Obama’s win, I decided to write this article to share my thoughts with the world. It’s truly a blessing that Obama is now The President of the United States of America.
I know in my heart and spirit that Obama was elected so that he can help the less fortunate and clean up all the mess related to the war, economy, etc. I have lived in this country all my life and have never seen it in it’s current state. The bible teaches us to give back to the less fortunate. I know that will be Obama’s mission. I am here to support him all the way. Not only is Obama here to help the less fortunate, but he is here to make America GREAT once again.
I want my children and my children’s children to live in a world where they can live happy and free. Free from life stresses of being able to provide the basics for themselves and their families. I know that not everyone in this world will be rich, but I do believe in the RICH and those that have giving back to the less fortunate. You may say that I worked for mine, the less fortunate should work for theirs. It’s not about that at all. In life, we all have circumstances. Sometimes these circumstances put us in a state we may not be able to pull ourselves out of. Giving back to others lifts the spirit.
With Obama’s win, it reminds me that anything is possible in this life. CONGRATULATIONS Barack Obama and the World!
