Building You Own Chicken Coop – This Is How You Do It Yourself

If you give me two minutes i’ll let you all my secrets on how to build a chicken coop easily, even if you have never held a hammer before! There are many things to consider and I wish I had someone telling me these stuff a few months ago before I started with this project.

For some of us, building a chicken coop sound easy but the truth is, it might get frustrating if you have no plan or someone to guide you.

Generally speaking, you can put the chickens in a pen or build a cheap crate for them. But the problem is, that most of the chickens will be found dead sooner or later. People don’t understand that the chicken coop protects the chickens from weather changes and from animals. And if you ask me, it also helps you control them.

Here are three things you simply must learn and consider prior to building your chicken coop by yourself.

The first thing to consider is the location of the chicken coop. The ground has to be flat, if it’s not, get someone to flatten it for you. And another thing about the location, keep it away from trees. Trees might fall on you coop and kill the chickens.

The second thing you should consider is the size of the chicken coop. If you play on raising more chickens in the future you may want to build a big coop right at the beginning instead of building another one in the future. This is very important issue and you have to consider it and make a decision before you start building.

Now the most important thing is the plan. You can’t start building if you don’t have a proper plan. I spent days on the internet going through different sites and forums till I have found the right solution. Let me tell you right now, I’m a very skeptical person so I check everything thoroughly.

At last, I have found an online resource that offered detailed plans, support and lots of info that was very useful during the process.

Trust me, this is something you don’t want to miss cause you can make all kind of mistakes without the right plan. So I suggest you check it out, there is a link at the bottom of this video and once you visit the site you’ll understand why I’m so excited about it.
