It contains a chemical called crocetin that helps in reducing blood pressure. It is advised to use saffron only in small quantities because high amounts can cause unconsciousness.

•  White Meat and Cold Water Fish – It is not necessary to stop consuming meat if you are prone to high blood pressure. Just changing your diet from consuming saturated fat to low fat meats like white meat. Eating fish also provides Omega 3 which is essential for reducing blood pressure.

The foods mentioned above are an easy and natural remedy for high blood pressure troubles. Along with these it is advised to stop or reduce the consumption of certain food items like salt, meat with saturated fat and dairy products.
