Excessive Sweating Remedies You Can Do at Home

There are tons of excessive sweating remedies and the good news is some of them can be found right there in your kitchen. Yes it can be embarrassing but there’s something you can do about it and you do not have to resort to surgery right away unless none of the common methods work for you. While it is true that abnormal sweating can be a symptom of an underlying medical condition, in most cases, it is just caused by hyperhidrosis which is characterized by heavy sweating but the person is healthy otherwise.

One of the most commonly used excessive sweating remedies is tomato juice. Some people swear by it. Drink a cup of tomato juice for straight seven days and on the following week drink it every other day and you’ll see the difference. Tomato juice has a lot of nutritional value and antioxidants that can prevent you from sweating too much. Baking soda is also a natural remedy that can help improve your sweat problems and what’s good about it is that it’s so versatile as it can be used to treat feet, palms and body sweating. Soak your feet or palms in a bowl filled with hot water with equal parts of baking soda for about 20 to 25 minutes and then towel them dry. Leave the baking soda residue on your skin and do not wash it with soap and water otherwise the solution will not be as effective. You can do this every night before you go to bed. If you are sweating profusely all over your body, you can soak in a tub filled with warm water and a cup of baking soda for 15 minutes and then towel dry. This is also a good way to fight body odor as baking soda is great in eliminating odor. This will leave you smelling fresh and sweat-free.

Some of the most popular excessive sweating remedies also include using apple cider vinegar, lemon juice and sage tea. Apple cider vinegar has antibacterial properties so it’s also a great way to eliminate that awful armpit smell. You can also mix lime juice with baking soda and rub it in your underarms after you take a shower in the morning. This will serve as your deodorant. Lime will kill the odor-causing bacteria in your armpit and baking soda will stop the sweating. Sage tea can be taken every morning to help prevent excessive sweating. You just have to be patient though because the results are not instant.
