Your toning product also completely removes your cleanser. Toners contain little amounts of alcohol, which act as astringent. There are some toners that stings and makes your face feel taut and dry. Facial skin care products like these indicate strong formulation. If the result of your skin care product is the latter, you should opt for a toner that is formulated with mild ingredients. If your skin is oily, go for toners that contain a high percentage of alcohol. When your skin is dry, opt for a toning product that has least alcohol.
