London Volunteer Training Event
CHICKS Coordination Team would like to invite you to our London Volunteer Training Event! This training event is for all break volunteers – past, present or future. The day will involve exploring what it is like volunteering at CHICKS; children's behaviour management workshop; building rapport with children workshop as well as plenty of games ideas and making sure all your questions about a CHICKS break are answered. This will be a fun, interactive event with a chance to meet like-minded people! (Lunch is provided too!) CHICKS provides free respite breaks for disadvantaged children from across the UK at our three retreats in Devon, Cornwall and Derbyshire.  Children come for a 5-day residential break, supported by up to 6 volunteers each week.
