When you are a teenager, dealing with acne is just part of life. Just remember: if your face is bright red after you’re done washing it, that is a bad sign. Looking a little flushed is okay, but bright red is not. You want to have a healthy glow but stop short of looking like a red light bulb.

Benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid can be incredibly helpful to adults whose acne is severe. Wash your face at least two times every day. Things can deposit themselves onto our faces even while we sleep.
