If you wanted to get 190 leads and make sales within the next 30 days, how would you go about it? Well this is how I did it and if I can do it, then so can you!
There are three things you will need:
1) A Lead Capture Website
2) An Autoresponder and a series of follow-up emails.
Let’s get started:
A Lead Capture Website:
A lead capture website, is one that is designed with a web form to capture either name and email or simply the prospects email address.
This is important as it gives you the ability to follow-up with people that have visited your site, but did not buy from you today.
By having their email, you have many more chances to turn a visitor into a buyer.
The more interactions that you have with your visitor, the more comfortable they become with you and it allows you to build trust with them.
Even if you are new to internet marketing, you have probably heard; the money is in the list!
Autoresponder and a series of follow-up emails:
An autoresponder is a computer program that automatically sends e-mail for you.
Autoresponders are used as e-mail marketing tools, to immediately provide information to prospective customers and then follow-up with them at preset time intervals. I use GetResponse as my choice of autoresponders as they are very reliable and easy to use.
For the follow-up emails, I used a series of seven emails with the first one being sent once the person submits their information with the following six being sent one per day thereafter.
As you may know already, there are many methods to do this job, but some could work better than others, and in this case in particular, I will point out the traffic sources I used.
I used solo ads(solo ad: definition A “solo ad” is an ad which is sent out to subscribers) to promote my site sending traffic to my squeeze page offering them 100% FREE training on the latest software I am recommending.
A squeeze page is a landing page created to solicit opt-in email addresses from prospective subscribers.
A squeeze page is a single web page with the sole purpose of capturing information for follow-up marketing; that has NO exit hyperlinks. Try to keep the content on your squeeze pages to a minimum. The goal of the page is to obtain the visitor’s email address.
Since I was using Solo Ads, I used all of the guidelines already set(you can find the post on my blog: Solo Ads…CAUTION ALERT??).
I wanted to test small and with a few different solo ad vendors to measure where I would get the best results so I arranged three different tests.
The first two went according to plan and with the purchase of 100 clicks from each of the two vendors.
I got more clicks than expected, 129 from one of the vendors and 140 from the other, so I was pleased with the clicks. I did use a different tracking link for each different solo ad so that I could measure which vendor performed the best.
Next I went to the forums that are appropriate for my niche.
An Internet forum, or message board, is an online discussion site where people can hold conversations in the form of posted messages and I posted my website posts to my blog at different forums.
I basically duplicated my blog to the blog they allow you to have on the forum.
I set up my signature with a link to my squeeze page. I found questions that people were asking and responded to them and let my signature which contains a link back to my site’s squeeze page do its work.
I would spend an hour or so each day working on the different forums just interacting, answering questions and spreading my signature around.
Still we had the third vendor who due to a glitch somehow managed to forget about my 100 clicks that had been purchased at the same time as the others.
So the hunt was on to round him up and get him to schedule the clicks. To make a long story short, we finally got the 131 clicks.
Daily I kept putting in an hour or so at the different forums, commenting, answering newbie questions and spreading around my signature link.
Since we had some good results with the previous solo ads, I went back and ran another ad. We had to adjust our scheduling around the holidays and we decided to try one a couple of days after Christmas.
This ad produced 149 clicks and 60 leads.
When all was said and done, we ran four solo ads of 100 clicks to test the results and at the end of the 30 days, we had captured 190 leads and made sales along the way!
Remember, if I can do it, so can you!
