Atlanta also has the country’s fourth largest combination of Fortune 500 companies inside city limits.

Office space in Atlanta has seen a lot more leasing movement, with a lot more deals being worked on. The number of companies moving in has exceeded the move-outs, with total occupancy increasing by thousands. Office space in Atlanta is still readily available. And, now is the perfect time to plan for the future as the big office space market areas are all pushing a twenty percent vacancy. In addition, landlords are more accommodating; they are open to negotiate deals in order to get their vacancy rates down. Corporate profits are on the rise, and companies are starting to take advantage of beneficial market conditions to see both short- and long-term cost interests.

Many figure that the road to recovery will be a slow one. Atlanta office space is no different, going forward. As far as growth, Atlanta has always been a chief region in the nation. Looking at many aspects including; job growth, leasing activity and spotty industry growth, consumption of office space in Atlanta is likely to be down yet again soon.
