The last thing you want when you are on a night out is to spot someone else wearing exactly the same outfit as you. Therefore, it is important that you add you own twist to a dress to make it look individual.
An easy way to style prom dresses to create a really cool, rock chick look is to toughen up a very pretty, sparkly top with a black leather jacket. Instead of your usual heels go for a pair of black patent ankle boots and add a fringed leather bag, or a clutch bag covered in studs. Some red lipstick and black eyeliner will finish this look off perfectly.
Alternatively, if you are going for a work dinner or a smart evening out then why not choose a classic peplum dress. Team this with a large statement necklace to add colour and a bit of sparkle, before adding a classic pair of courts and a small clutch bag. If you don’t feel confident in high heels, go for black tights and kitten heels.
Bodycon dresses work well with blazers if you want to dress them down a little, while you can take them from the office to the bar by taking off your tights, cardigan and ballet flats and swapping them for some statement jewellery and some T-bar heels with a bit of sparkle.
