Acne breakouts are miserable. It’s painful, embarrassing, and extremely hard to deal with. Luckily there are some natural ways to help you deal with your breakouts. Read on for some easy methods that will help clear your skin and make you feel better, without harsh medications.
After you wake up in the morning and find the huge patch of acne all over your face, your first move is usually to panic, then grab the most concentrated acne medication that you have. This happens to almost everyone. You’ll wash your face (with a medicated wash) and then apply pimple cream, or whatever your flavor of the week is. The end result is that your skin is drier, more irritated and painful than before. There has to be a better way! Thankfully, there is.
When you get a monster breakout, you should wash your face then grab a huge bottle of water. Drink water like you’re a fish in the sea. The added hydration will moisturize your skin and flush out the crap that’s living underneath your pimples. When this happens to me, I make a conscious effort to drink at least a gallon of water each day until the breakout has subsided. This is a lot of water, and you’re going to pee a lot, but it’ll help knock that acne right off your face.
To further the process along, and help you use up the extra water, go break a sweat. Get a good exercise and sweat hard. The process of sweating will further flush your pores clean. Be sure to wash your face well afterwords to remove the grime and salt that builds up from the sweat.
Don’t aggravate the breakout more by wearing a ton of makeup to cover it up. Keep in mind that even the most flawless face gets pimples, and be happy with your natural self. The exercise and water will certainly give your self-esteem the boost it needs during this rough time.
